MOTHERHOOD
DE-STRESS
"Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."
PHILIPPIANS 4:6-8

of trouble.
DEUTERONOMY 3:16

for the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave you
nor forsake you.
MATTHEW 6:34

worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
PHILIPPIANS 4:12-13

MATTHEW 6:32-33
If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.
HEBREWS 13:5-6
Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?
LUKE 12:15
Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard
against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an
abundance of possessions.”
PSALM 37:1-5
Do not fret because of those who are evil or be
envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass
they will soon wither, like green plants they will
soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take
delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires
of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust
in him and he will do this.
PROVERBS 16:8-9
Better a little with righteousness than much gain
with injustice. In their hearts humans plan their
course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
2 CORINTHIANS 12:10
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
1 TIMOTHY 6:6-8
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
PSALM 30:6-7
When I felt secure, I said, “I will never be shaken.” Lord, when you favored me, you made my royal mountain stand firm; but when you hid your face, I was dismayed.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good
work in you will carry it on to completion until the
day of Christ Jesus.
PSALM 121:1-4
I look up to the mountains; does my strength come
from mountains? No, my strength comes from God,
who made heaven, and earth, and mountains. He
won’t let you stumble, your Guardian God won’t fall
asleep. Not on your life! Israel’s Guardian will never
doze or sleep.
